EPS led the EPS/Bowen Joint Venture in the design build contract for the wastewater treatment works.
The works designed for 10,000 PE (13,500 m³/day) c/w inlet works, grit and grease removal, storm holding.
Biological treatment using EPS SBR technology with treated effluent receiving UV disinfection prior to discharge.
The EPS operate division will operate the works on behalf of Cork Co Council for the period 2011 to 2031.
